Ashley Madison’s Cyber Attack:

As most of you may have heard by now, Ashley Madison was recently the victim of a major cyber attack that ruined the company’s plans to increase their investment potential in the UK.

According to Ashley Madison’s statistics, Australians don’t fall anywhere near the world’s top cheaters and, as such, some of you may not be aware of what the company is, or what it offers its clients:

Ashley Madison is an online dating website that offers its members the opportunity to have affairs with others, without the risk of being caught by their partners. Members can sign up with fake names and contact details, engage in communications with each other, send photographs (yep, even nudies) and organise to “meet for dinner”… if you know what we mean. The company’s slogan is, “Life is short. Have an affair.”

Hackers breached the globally renowned infidelity website and have since threatened to release the real names, photos, credit card details and other personal information of its 37 million members, unless the site permanently shuts itself down – now, that’s one hell of a threat!
